Code, prompts, evaluation suites and audit logs are public. Anyone can read along, contribute, or fork it for another municipality.
Why open
An AI that works for the city should belong to the city. That means: code public, prompts versioned, evaluations reproducible. No vendor lock-in, no black boxes, no surprises.
Repository
Our code lives on github.com/vraag-amsterdam. Frontend under MIT, backend and prompts under EUPL v1.2 for compatibility with government use.
